It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Dean Long of Sulphur, Louisiana, born in Red Bay, Alabama, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Guidry Long; his parents, Athel Long and Lorene Long Harris; and his siblings, Ronnie Long and Athelene James.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Garner (Sam), Shane Long (Kathy), Karen Daniels, Luary Guidry (Patti), Renee Boyette, Kathy Guidry, Joe Guidry (Trisha) and Randy Guidry (Tina); and his sister Vickie McKinney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
