She is survived by: her children, Desiree Helmer Dalomba (Darrin Childress) and Royce Helmer (Angel LeJeune); her daughter-in-law Kathy Helmer; her grandchildren, Kelsey Helmer, Dustin Helmer and Samantha Helmer; and her great grandchild Cecil Richard. She is also survived by four siblings.
