He is survived by: his spouse Kathy Richard Stutes; his daughter Carla Britt Brown (Neal) of Lake Charles; his stepdaughter Wanda Sonnier (Robert) of Westlake; his sons, Danny Stutes (Elba) of Portland, ME, Emery J. "Butch" Stutes, Jr (Kay) of Bentonville, AR, Patrick Roland Stutes (Christina) of Tallahasse, FL and Greggory Paul Stutes (Carol) of Winston-Salem, NC.; and his pet Mable. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
