Eldon Douglas Hicks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eldon Douglas Hicks of Sulphur, Louisiana, born in Weir, Texas, who passed away on August 20, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Ottis Hicks and Lucy Ethel Trammell Hicks; his wife Helen Hicks; his sons-in-law, Terry Buford and Jerry Dickerson; and his sisters, Norma Begeman and Beatrice Rennick.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Peveto (Gary) of Sulphur, Brenda Buford of Sulphur and Elaine Dickerson of Sulphur; his sister Mildred Hollis of Abilene, Texas; his grandchildren, Neil (Mandy), Jaime (Jared), Katie (Ric), Josh (Bre) and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Molly, Colston, Autumn, Rowdy, Devery, Nolan, Rice, Jack, Maria Madison and Laikyn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
