He is survived by: his wife Susan Byon Fruge; his children, Joni Holbrook and James Carlock; his grandchildren, Taylor "Peanut" Trahan, Reed "Boy" Holbrook and James Carlock, Jr.; and his brothers, Troy Fruge (Scarlet) and Shawn Fruge (Libby).
