It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cherie Jean Schnell of Sulphur, Louisiana, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Lee Schnell; her son James Michael McNiel; her sister Freida Garrison; and her parents, AnnaBelle Schlicher and Joseph Schlicher.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Fontenot of Sulphur; her grandchildren, Kirk of Sulphur and Maegan Fontenot of Sulphur; her great grandchildren, Baylee Fontenot, Bentley, Bladen and David; her sister Deborah DeLoach; her nieces and nephews, Kenny Rauche, Tammy Pressley, Christy DeLoach, Kelly DeLoach and Harold DeLoach, Jr. (Kim); and her pets, Sammy, Pinkie and Simon.
