She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Walker and Bernice Thrasher Walker (George McKeivier); and her sisters, Maurine Walker Parker, Jerry Walker Williams and Betty Walker Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Suzy Fontenot (Tim), Steven McKeivier (Lisa) and Amy Bearden (Stacy); her brother Wayne Walker; and her grandchildren, Jacob Fontenot, Allison Corbello, Zachary McKeivier, Tyler McKeivier (Destiny), Ethan Bearden and Madeline Bearden. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
