She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Cook; and her sister Brenda Hennigan. She is survived by: her significant other Lionel Mestayer; her daughters, Jenean Adams (Wayne) and Lana Hicks (Jeff); and her mother Nelwyn Cook. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ethel Precht Breast Cancer Foundation.
