She was predeceased by: her significant other James Gary; her parents, Santiago Caraballo and Cleofe Martinez Caraballo; and her siblings, Justina Ortiz, Modesta Martinez, Catherine Savarino and Benjamin Medina.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Kay Gary; her siblings, Maria Banchs of North Carolina and Eligio Madina of Texas; her sisters-in-law, Linda Gary and Jo Dee Gary; and her nieces and nephews, Manuel, Eliza, Yolanda, Raddie, Jamie, Camille, Willie, Cathy, Jill, Lori and Spencer.
