It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burney Rourk (Sulphur, Louisiana), who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Burney Rourk to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elise Rourk and Martin Rourk; his wife Mildred Lantier Rourk; his brothers, Vernon, Pauvin and Mervin Rourk; and his significant other Margaret Boudreaux.
He is survived by: his son Rickey (Sherry); his grandchildren, Burn, Sky, Autumn and Breezy; his great grandchildren, Austin, Haylie, Wyatt, Sadie Kate, Palmer, Kirsten and Kiley; his great great grandchild Axel; and his sisters, Olesia Smith, Dorothy Prudhomme and Sybil Nickel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
