He was predeceased by: his parent Ercle Leta Deason; and his brothers, Billy and Kermit Deason. He is survived by: his daughter Dana Deason Babineaux (Shawn); his granddaughters, Mallory Deason and Sierra "Nikki" Babineaux; his great grandchild Cason Babineaux of Sulphur; and his sisters, Juanita Vincent (Cecil) of Carlyss' and Joyce Coleman of Carlyss'. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
