He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Collins and Rose Dudley Collins; his daughter Lori Collins; and his sister Linda Rose Collins (Betty DeCamp). He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Newman Collins; his son Benson Elie Collins; his grandchildren, Addyson, Aubryee, Jaxson and Keisleigh; and his siblings, Bill Collins (Linda) and Amy Bell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (340 E Prien Lake Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
