It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Fontenot of Sulphur, Louisiana, who passed away on July 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Lucy Moore Fontenot; and her sisters, Jean Higgins and Sandra Benoit. She is survived by: her husband Calvin Joseph Fontenot; her children, Edward Frazer (Debra) of Lake Charles, Timothy Fontenot (Machelle) of Pittsburg, KS and Elizabeth Kay Fontenot of Carlyss; her grandchildren, Calvin Jarrell, Heather Sonnier, Jennifer Nall and T. J. Fontenot; and her great grandchildren, Dustin, Taylor, Shase, Ty, Atley and Skyler.
