With solemn reverence, we commemorate Nita Welch (Sugartown, Louisiana), born in Elizabeth, Louisiana, whose life came to an end on March 11, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulas Reed and Marjorie Reed; and her siblings, Billy Reed and Betty Reed Klutts. She is survived by: her husband Teddy Welch of Sugartown, LA; her children, Scott Alan Welch (Cher) and Connie Lynn Welch Sanderlin (Jason); her grandchildren, Blakely Welch, Mason Welch, Troy Sanderlin, Chase Sanderlin and Kallie Sanderlin; and her brothers, Tim Lee and Frank Ott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smyrna Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Nita to the Pregnancy Care Center or Smyrna Baptist Church.
