He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Charlene Taylor, Tora and Worley Thompson; and his cousin Charlie Brown Taylor.
He is survived by: his parents, Ralph Thompson and Nancy Thompson; his wife Cassie Thompson of Sugartown; his daughters, Kacie Thompson, Kimaron (Dylan Deason) and Karlei (Konner Seal); his grandchildren, Averi, Jansen Deason, Brynlee, Emeri Seal and Conlee Thompson; his brothers, Ralph "Boog" Thompson (Bazoo), Cris Thompson and Kelly Moore (Tammy); his sisters-in-law, Jessica (Daniel Griffin), Krystle Roberts, Misty (John Vaughn) and Staci (Chase Reeves); his parents-in-law, John (Sally Stephens) and Evelyn (Dwayne Broussard); and his pet Pistol. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
