He was predeceased by: his wife Iva Faye Ashworth (Sue); his parents, Henderson Ashworth and Beulah Ashworth; his siblings, Buck Ashworth, Wayne Ashworth, Herman Ashworth, Danny Ashworth and Loleda Hammock; his siblings-in-law, Aubrey Gill, Carl Jordan, Zela Jordan, Lela Perkins and Delora Gill; and his daughter Shelda Price.
He is survived by: his children, James E. Ashworth of Ruston, LA, Brady Ashworth (Alison) and Nelda Ashworth of DeRidder, LA; and his grandchildren, Angel Ashworth, Abi Leachman (Robby), John Ashworth (Aleia), Robert Price, Milanna, McKenzie and Brayden Ashworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
