With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Gerkens Gingles (Stonewall, Louisiana), who passed away on March 27, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Mack Gingles Sr.; her son John Mack Gingles Jr.; her parents, Alice Gerkens and John Gerkens; and her siblings, Mary Alice Kopp, Jean Bulinski, Robert Tubre, Alma Campbell, Anna Welch, Johnny Osley, Tillie Mallet and Harriet Seymore.
She is survived by: her sister Martha Dukats; and her children, Sammy Gingles (Sharon Gingles), Suzie Litton (Odie Litton), Cindy Johnigan (Gary Johnigan) and Kenneth Gingles (Cari Gingles). She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
