He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma "Mattie" Lopez and Sam Lopez; and his brother Perry Lopez. He is survived by: the mother of his children Wanda Lopez; his daughter Raquel; his son-in-law Brian Harper; his grandchildren, Christeana Turk, Haven Holland and Novalee Harper; his son Cain; his stepdaughters, Porsha Solis and Erica Lindsey; his granddaughter Karyana Jones; his brothers, Tony Lopez, Carlos Lopez, Don Lopez and Paul Lopez; his sister-in-law Rhonda Lopez; his sisters, Sheila Lopez Adams and Annette Lopez; his great grandchildren, Braylee Busher, Wrenley Tannehill and Riverlea Holland; and also, Tracy Lopez, Caden and Mason Lopez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to North Desoto Church of Christ.
