Denise Mathews Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denise Mathews of Stonewall, Louisiana, who passed away on March 26, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father C. A. "Buddy" Speights; her brother Stephen Ashley Speights; and her grandmother Irene "MeMaw" Speights. She is survived by: her mother Victoria Lee; her husband Rusty Mathews; her sons, Brad Mathews (Jamie) and Jeremy Mathews (Jordan); her grandchildren, Braeden, Kenzie, Lane and Aubee Kate; her stepfather Bob "Pop" Lee; her siblings, Liz Adams (Michael Adams), Alan Speights, Jonathan Speights (Tanya) and Michael Speights; her uncle Lanis Speights; her sister-in-law Cindy Speights; her parents-in-law, Bryant, Georgia Mathews and Terri Mathews; and her sons, Rodney Basco, Daniel Gasper, Lee Holder and Bubba Weaver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
