He is survived by: his wife Dera Edwards Welch of Sterlington, Louisiana; his children, Cody Welch of Little Rock and Rayne Welch of Hamburg; his mother Gail Riels Welch of Hamburg; and his stepson Damieon Waller of Alexandria, Louisiana..
