It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sebastian Morris of Sterlington, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 11, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Carla Pintarelli Morris; and his great-grandparents, Johnnie Follis, Cleveland and Lula Mae Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Crystal Johnson; his father-in-law Brian Thomas; his father Nikolaj Morris; his stepmother Lindsey Morris; his brothers, Talon Strother, Logan Freeland and Luca Morris; his stepsiblings, Jacob Thomas, Chase Andersen, Blake Posey, Parker Posey and Emma Andersen; his grandparents, Elmore Morris, Jr., Clifton, Amanda Johnson, Debbie, Rodney Cockerham, Eddie, Martha Patterson and Toni Williams; and his aunts and uncles, Nadia Morris (Bunty Patel), Natosha Wilson, Steven Stevenson (Reshari Ramsey), Christopher Chandler, Darren, Jennifer Thomas, Justin Cockerham, Lauren Cockerham and Jay Thomas. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Monroe Baptist Church (210 Finks Hideaway Rd, Monroe, LA 71203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Burton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Association (LOPA) or to any Suicide Prevention Organization.
