It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Gordon Hackler Jr. of Sterlington, Louisiana, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hackler and Annie Hackler; his wife Betty Jean; and his brothers, Charles Hackler and Truman Hackler.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Hackler (Stacey), Donnie Hackler and Amy Gallman (Kyle); his grandchildren, Ben, Matt, Savannah, Laurin and Landrie; his great grandchildren, Abby, Madison, Jaxon and Connor; and his siblings, Ann Taylor and Jerry Don Hackler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
