It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Benson of Sterlington, Louisiana, born in Farmerville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 14, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Otha Mae Benson; and his brothers, Otis Lee Benson and Bruce Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Eloise Benson; his siblings, Scott Benson (Kim), Jimmy Wallace, Patrick Wallace (Felicia) and Nettie Jean Fields; his aunt Charlene Wallace; and his friends, Melvia, Olemeul Lewis, Willie West, Kenny Ray Clark, Ledell Shelbon, Willie Bell Parson, Charles McCaster, D. L. Moore and Travis McAlphin. He is also survived by great- grandchildren; as well as his many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
