She was predeceased by: her parents, James Watson (Watson) and Edna Jones Watson; the father of her children Paul Clayton Jernigan, Sr.; and her siblings, Kenneth Watson, Sherrie McGraw, Mebyl Vines and Roger Watson, Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, Paul "Clay" Clayton Jerningan, Jr., Jason Jernigan (Karen Goldman Jerningan) of Sterlington, LA and Charles Watson (Linda Watson) of Vicksburg, MS; her sister Claudine Watson of Zachary, LA; and her grandchildren, Taylor Belle Jernigan, Nolan Christian Jernigan, Andrew Paul Jerningan and Chloe Jernigan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
