She was predeceased by : her parents, Woodrow W. Sistrunk and Amber Lee Moody Sistrunk; her brothers, Calvin Sistrunk, Jimmy Sistrunk and Thomas Sistrunk; her sisters-in-law, Esther Sistrunk and Betty Sistrunk; and her brother Bill Birmingham.

She is survived by : her husband Donald D. Turner; her children, Tammy Tevy (Brady), Brian Turner (Monica) and Jeff Turner (Neacie); her siblings, Sharon Torres (Mike), Sandra Harper (Bill) and David Sistrunk (Beverly); her sister-in-law Emma Kay Shepherd; and her grandchildren, Trent Turner, Kalie Smith, Jenna Turner, Madison Turner, Jacob Turner and Amber Tevy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to North Monroe Baptist Church, The Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or the Alzheimer's Association.
