He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Moore and Irma Moore; his siblings, Lurlene Crow, Ethel Gould and Julius David Moore; and his granddaughter Savannah Thornton.
He is survived by: his wife Genett "Nett" Moore of Start; his daughters, Rhonda Thornton (Ronald) of Winnsboro, Janis Youngblood (Jay) of West Monroe and Julia Cain (Rodney) of Swartz; his brother William "Bubba" Moore (Virginia) of Start; his granddaughters, Brittney Thornton, MeLaina Busby (Chris), Jennifer McKoy (Charles), Aly Youngblood, Kristina Norman (Micah) and Sarah Hill; his stepgrandson Daniel Cain; his great grandchildren, Natalie Roberts, MeKenzie Thornton, Vannah Busby, Kinsley King and Brentley McKoy; and his close friends, Sandra Gail Johnson, Tina Gross, Roger, Cathy Stockton and Shellie Stockton.
