She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaddis Toney and Myrtle Bell Toney; her brother Kenneth Toney; and her grandson Joshua Duffey. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Duffey of Start; her children, Carla Nelson of Flowood, MS and David Duffey (Chelsea) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Noah Nelson of Flowood, MS, Clay Nelson of Columbia, LA, Gaddis Duffey of Monroe, Parker Nelson of Flowood, MS, Nathaniel Duffey of Monroe and Isabella Duffey of Monroe; and her siblings, Ann Smith of Holly Ridge, Marie Johnston of Delhi and Don Toney (Vicki) of Rayville. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
