He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Parker and Irma Parker; his son Michael Stephen Parker; and his brother Doyle Parker. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Parker of Start; his children, Steve Parker, Jr. of Start, Amy Dickens (William) of Start, Alan Parker of Start, Brett Parker (Jada) of Benton, LA, Garrett Parker of Start, Reagan Parker of Start and Teagan Parker of Start; his grandchildren, Hunter Parker, Diamond Parker, Molly Parker, Brooks Parker, Gavin Dickens and Ella Dickens; and his siblings, Tommy Parker (Sharon) of Fairhope, AL, Gene Parker (Lanelle) of Weston, LA, Don Parker (Sherry) of Start and Lana Faye Johnston of Start. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
