It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Franks Overstreet of Start, Louisiana, born in Rayville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Franks and Louise Franks; and her siblings, Donnie Franks and Ethel Smith. She is survived by: her children, Joey King (Teresa) of Jena, LA, Desiree "Niki" King (Michael Funderburk, Sr.) of Start, LA and Dustin King of Rayville, LA; and her siblings, Arnie Franks, Linda Stovall and Brenda Duffey (Bill). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family request that any donation be made directly to the funeral home to help offset the cost of the funeral expenses.
