He was predeceased by: his wife LaJuana F. Henry; his son Jay Henry; his daughter-in-law Sherria Henry; his brother Larry Wayne Henry; his parents, H. H. "Hamp" and Lorene Henry; and his brother-in-law Charles Vivian.

He is survived by: his children, Danny Henry (Dee Dee) of Clinton, NC and Kevin Henry (Robin) of Start, LA; his grandchildren, Daniel Henry (Anastasia), Justin Henry (Stacie), Betsy Peterson (Ross), Max Henry, Jessica Organ, Zack Henry (Kasey), Holli Henry, Kaleb Henry, Geoffrey Henry (Lexi) and Mattie Henry; his great grandchildren, Adalynne Henry, Dalton Henry Mercer, Sophie Henry, Lilah Henry, Georgia Henry, Tex Mooney, Liam Henry, Evelyn Henry, Ava Peterson and Landon Peterson; and his siblings, James Henry (Dayle) of Start, Betty Vivian of Loveland, CO, Pam Finely (Mike) of Choudrant and Pat Weston (Larry) of Start, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
