It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Felix Eugene Bennett of Start, Louisiana, born in Rayville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Bennett and Hattie Hart Bennett; and his siblings, J. B. Bennett, Lola Bell Allison and Irma Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hollingsworth Bennett; his children, Larry Bennett (Betty), Kay Trisler (Ken) and Glen Bennett (Connie); his grandchildren, Kim Clack, Kevin Bennett, Kelly King, Ronnie Bennett, Dr. Paul Trisler, Laura Mulhern, Greg Bennett, Jeff Bennett and Jerry Bennett; and his siblings, Dan Bennett and Ann Long.
