Carolyn Stokes Head Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Stokes Head of Start, Louisiana, who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stokes and Eunice Stokes; her sisters, Katherine Hill and Linda Morris; her father-in-law Garland Head; and her sister-in-law Polly Leach.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Head of Start; her children, David Head (Lora), Dr. Randy Head (Twila), Cleo Head (Britni) and Jerri Lynne Watts (Jason); her grandchildren, Rachel Head, Katie Jackson (Austin), Mallory Cater (Corbin), Randy II, Sterling Ella, Presley Lynne, Kailyn, Jacie, James Head, Alex, Manning and Kinsley Watts; her great grandchildren, Georgia Pearl, Kathleen Zoe Cater and Jude David Jackson; her brother Edward "Buck" Stokes (PeeWee); her niece Debbie Poindexter (Steve); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Hill and Shirley Ratcliff. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
