She was predeceased by: her husband William "Buck" Barks; her parents, Johnny Bussell and Delphia Bussell; and her brother Homer "Blackbuck" Bussell. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Barks (Anita), Randy Barks (Sonya) and Kimberly Barks of Starks, Louisiana.; her grandchildren, Keith Hess, Derrick Barks, Todd Barks, Chasity Barks, Alex Barks and Axel Barks; and her siblings, J. L. Bussell (Veda), Roy Bussell, Merlene Thaxton and Linda Martinez (Jimmy). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
