He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Barks Barnes; his children, Randy Barnes (Rochelle), Shawn Barnes (Patti), Sharon Gibson (Lynell), Todd Barks (Denise) and Patrick Barks (Georgann); his grandchildren, Robert Barnes (Lacy), Leslie Grantham (Bobby), Ryan Barnes (James), Tyler Barks (Tamara), Abigale Barks (Alec), Cutter Barks, Hannah Bajade and Dexter Gibson (Ashley); and his brothers, Cecil Barnes (Naomi), Raymond Barnes (Dorothy) and Earnest Barnes (Sue). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
