She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Ellis and Belle Ellis; and her daughter Rhonda Hess. She is survived by: her significant other Mike Daniel of Starks, Louisiana; her son Michael Hess of Hawaii; her grandsons, Keith Hess (KuLania) and Brandan Yuta Hess; her great grandchild Madison Jones; and her brothers, Jim Ellis (Cindy) of Amarillo and Buddy Ellis (Sharon) of Bridge City, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
