He was predeceased by: his wife Eva Rae Clark Richard; his daughter Deborah Delaine Allbright; his parents, Dudley Richard and Elise Comeaux Richard; and his siblings, Nelson Richard and Ruth Racca.
He is survived by: his children, Karen "Cookie" Crenshaw (Mark), Anita Lynette Barks (Joseph), Rhonda Faye Fevrejean, Steven John Richard (Brenda), Clark Ray Holmes (Charlotte) and Anthony Eugene Holmes; and his sisters, Jean Ryder and Sheryl Vincent. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
