He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Dewitt (Shorty) and Ona Roberta Knippers; and his siblings, Mildred Baldridge (Jess), Willard Knippers, Wayne Knippers and Willie Knippers (Virginia).
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Knippers; his children, Kim Winkler (Jason) and Shane Knippers; his grandchildren, Brooke Duck (Corey), Jaslyn Winkler, Tiffani Winkler, Shelbi Zaruba, Skye Zaruba, Caitlin Farrington and Caden Zaruba; his great grandchildren, Gunner Duck, Kypton Duck, Joshua Henderson, Jaxon Henderson, Jayda Henderson and Jaylee-Lynn Henderson; his sister Sue Morgan (Boliver J. Morgan); his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Tittle (Bill) and Doris Roebuck (Frank); and his pet Ella. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
