It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Voncile Blake of Springhill, Louisiana, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford T. Sparks and Glennie Mae Sparks; her husband Vance Blake; her children, Barry Blake and Regina Ann Burns; and her sisters, Ella Mae Garrett and Nell Morgan.
She is survived by: her son Robert E. Blake (Kathy) of Springhill; her son-in-law Rodney Burns of Springhill, LA; and her grandchildren, Chloe Burns of Springhill, LA, Ashley Hooter of Haughton, LA, Stacy Sessions (Jay) of Bossier, Roddie Calloway (Stan) of El Dorado, AR, Deann Cox (Brandon) of Sarepta, LA, Blake Burns (Crystal) of Fort Smith, AR and Anthony Blake (Penny) of Hallsville, TX. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one on the way; host of nieces and nephews; and a beloved friend.
