He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Alice Simpson Fish; his son Ralph Norwood Fish; and his sisters, Alice Faye Willis and Marilyn Fish Bryan.
He is survived by: his significant other Ann Norwood; his significant other's sons, Ralph and Randal; his son Randal Fish (Debbie); his granddaughters, Holly Michelle Fish (Brian Isaac), Lauren Lee Fish and Allison Ann Fish (Brennan Black); and his brother-in-law Darrell Willis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Civil Liberties Union or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
