He is survived by: his wife Imogene Thornton Maples of Springhill, LA; his children, Kenneth Maples (Sharon), Robert Maples (Rose), Michael Powers, Carla Waggoner of Walker's Creek, AR and Brenda Heft of Benton, AR; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Farrington (Drew), Christopher Maples, Carter Maples, Sloan Powers, Dakoda Maples, David Hiser (Melody), Seth Waggoner (Kelli), Tabetha Matthews (Eric), Gretchen Somer (Darel), David Maples and Heidi Maples. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Springhill in his memory.
