She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Taylor and Beulah Umphries Taylor; her husband George Elton Vaughan; her son Steven Brent Vaughan; and her siblings, Vivian Lewis, Raymond Taylor and C. L. Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Vaughan (Wynell) of Springhill and Beverly Vaughan Ayers (Thomas) of Springhill; her daughter-in-law Michelle Mason-Vaughan of Springhill; her grandchildren, Greg Ayers, Shelby Vaughan and Natasha Ayers; her stepgrandchildren, Chris Stewart (Tammy) and Rachel Crawford (Rueben); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Hunter Crawford, Dalton Crawford, Tucker Stewart and Charlie Stewart; and her brothers, Herbert Taylor (Gayle) and Duwain "Bo" Taylor (Bettye). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
