She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Griggs; her son Richard Ricky Alan Griggs; and her siblings, Clovis Liggin (Johnny), Sharon Hamilton, Hollis Jennings (Jeweline), Gladney Jennings (Maude), Austin Jennings (Nell), Grady Jennings, Jr., Pallbearers, Ronnie Griggs, Greg Jennings, Jay Jennings, Tony Jennings, Jason Marshall and Barry Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Hughes (Robert) of Alexandria, LA and Phillip Duane Griggs of Lafayette, LA; her grandchildren, Robin Gosserand (John Lang), Ross Hughes and Kelly Reish (Eric); her great grandchildren, Langdon, Sydney Gosserand, Sophia, Sarah and Evan Reish; her siblings, Jarvis Jennings (Shirley), Farris Jennings, Horace Jennings and Dorinda Payne (Joe); and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Jennings and Lee Hamilton. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
