It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Bayne Smith of Springhill, Louisiana, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald B. Smith and Dorothy E. Garrett Smith; and his grandparents, E. B. and Pauline Smith. He is survived by: his brothers, Tim Smith (Jean Ann) of Springhill, LA and G. Garrett "Jug" Smith (Jill) of Tyler, TX; his nieces, Natalie Parnell, Blair Cosby (Aaron) and Jordan Smith; his nephew Jackson Smith; and his great-nephews, Paxton Parnell, Bowen Cosby and Hardy Cosby.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
