She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Vernon Sargent; her brother Thomas O'Neal Blackerby; and her parents, Eurea II and Thomas O'Neal Blackerby II. She is survived by: her daughters, Tricia Sargent Scribner (Randy) and Lynna Rea Sargent Winkler (Todd); her grandchildren, Neli Scribner, Sara Kell (Andrew), Emily Peters (Aaron), Jessica McDaniel (Justin), Ashleigh Moreno (Jeremy) and Ben Winkler (Emily); her great grandchildren, Noah, May, Nathan and Hadassa Scribner; her grandchildren, Brayden, Grayson, Drew, Will Kell, Kiana, Shacerra Peters, Hunter, Ally Moreno and Caroline Winkler; her pet Charlie Mac; and also Milton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (504 W Church St, Springhill, LA 71075). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
