Malinda McConnell Gore Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Malinda McConnell Gore of Springhill, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Malinda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Malinda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. McConnell and Mary Virginia Hathorn McConnell. She is survived by: her husband Steve Gore; her children, Ryan Gore (Christina Gore), Reed Gore (Brooke Schafer) and Meredith Gore; her grandchildren, Gavin, Adelyn and Graham Gore; and her sister Lenae McConnell Scott (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (504 W Church St, Springhill, LA 71075).
