She was predeceased by: her mother Peggy Madison Claiborne. She is survived by: her father Jerry Arthur Claiborne (Kim) of Marshall, TX; her husband Derek Edward Melancon of Springhill, LA; her children, Aubrey Leigh Melancon of Springhill, LA, Jerrod Arthur Melancon (Samantha) of Splendora, TX and Seth Alexander Melancon (Nikki) of Haughton, LA; her grandchildren, Wade, Mason, Raelynn and Evelynne Melancon; and her siblings, Stacy Claiborne Day of Bossier City, LA, Katherine Claiborne-Clark (Adam) of Marshall, TX, Randall Lloyd Claiborne (Pam) of Bossier City, LA and Kamphi Claiborne of Marshall, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Fuller Center of Webster.
