He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Edward and Hazel Allen Franklin; and his wife Sandra Sistrunk Franklin. He is survived by: his children, Gregg S. Franklin (Bethany) of Springhill and Karla Moody of Junction City, KS; his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Arik, Alissa and Riley; and his brother Timothy Ray Franklin.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Springhill (304 First Street, Northwest Springhill, LA 71075). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 600 Cemetery Rd, Springhill, LA 71075.
