She was predeceased by: her parents, William Watson and Hattie Emma Kerr Cook; her husband W. L. Ford; and her brothers, J. L. Cook and Arlis K. Cook.

She is survived by: her siblings, Armilda Beard of Towson, MD and William Thomas Cook of Jonesboro, AR. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
