She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Dyer and Jessie Jones Watters; her sister Lorene Martin; her daughter Francis Tweed; and her brothers, Georgie Lee Watters, James Elbert Watters and Shelby Ray Watters.
She is survived by: her son Oscar Venable (Peggy) of Springhill, LA; her grandchildren, Tammy Cockerham of Townsend, DE and George Tweed; and her siblings, Mary Groce of Benton, LA, Ruby Shaw of Springhill, LA and Randall Watters (Pat) of Bossier City, LA. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
