He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell "Mac" and O'Neal McKenzie Goodwin; and his brother Mac Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Marian F. Goodwin; his children, Cindy Pharr of Springhill and James E. Pharr; his grandchild Frank Watson; his husband Roger Kono; his siblings, Janie Burks of Gilmer, TX and Teddy Joe Goodwin; and his sister-in-law Barbara Goodwin of Shreveport. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
